BON Voyage

As the great English playwright William Shakespeare once observed, with his customary wisdom:

“There is a tide in the affairs of men,
Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune”.

Such a tide came along for Tanzania – and appropriately for a company named Bon Voyage Travel Centre (Trading as HRG Tanzania – in the mid-1990s, when Tanzania’s tourism industry began to surge forward from its sluggish, poorly-promoted past towards a positive, progressive future. Bon Voyage was characteristically in the right place at the right time from its humble beginnings in 1994, when we only had one car, it has risen on the flood-tide of fortune to become a major tour company with a large and well-maintained fleet of vehicles and a highly motivated, carefully trained staff.

Our 4 X 4 Toyota Land Cruisers are among the best and most reliable safari vehicles ever produced, without compromising on comfort. All vehicles are fitted with seat-belts and high-tech radio equipment, and both vehicles and clients, en route to the tourist destinations or in the bush, are in the dependable hands of our experienced driver-guides. These driver-guides not only know the bush and its wildlife, or other places of interest, but also how to treat visitors as important guests, in the typical, time honored Tanzanian way. Their motto echoes that of Bon Voyage itself; “Hospitality Our way of life”. With Bon Voyage you don’t endure Africa – you enjoy it. But actions speak louder than words take a tour with us and you’ll find that we don’t just make promises we keep them.

We make wonderful memories also, but these are for you to keep.
